We launched the US Masters Singles in April 2026 to give individual golfers the chance to compete for the biggest prize in amateur golf — a trip to the US Masters at Augusta National.
Our US Masters Texas Scrambles are awesome, but they’re not for everyone. The Singles is different: individual, competitive, handicap-counting golf with separate Scratch and Handicap sections.
For 2027, we’ll host 20 qualifying events across Scotland, running from April through to mid-August. You can enter as many qualifiers as you like throughout the season.

All qualifiers will play at Fairmont St Andrews in our National Final.

The Scratch Champion and Handicap Champion are crowned on 27 August 2027.

Both champions win the 5-night US Masters trip in April 2028.
Event format & eligibility
The Best Prize
in Amateur Golf.
How else are you gonna get to Augusta?
Format: Individual Stableford. Every qualifier is an official handicap-counting open competition.
Players must be members of a golf club with an active handicap and must have played at least six handicap-counting competition rounds in the previous 12 months.
Please note: iGolf members and players using other society handicaps are not eligible to compete in this event.
Scratch Section
Everyone plays from scratch.
There are no handicap restrictions in the Scratch competition. Lowest/best Scratch performance wins the qualifying place.
Handicap Section
Maximum playing handicap: 18.
- Maximum allowance of 1 shot per hole
- Higher-handicap players are welcome to enter
- Playing handicap is reduced to the maximum allowance
